Dr. Ian Gray studied dentistry at the University of Western Ontario, graduating in 1987. That same year, he opened his own practice and has been proudly providing excellent dental care in Newmarket and the surrounding area ever since. Dr. Gray is a graduate of the Kois Advanced Training Center in Seattle and has extensive training in implant therapy. His training has allowed him to provide “Teeth-In-A-Day” for patients in need. He also studied at the Misch Institute, the Toronto Implant Institute, and the TIDE institute.
Dr. Gray has always felt the need to give back to the community and has sponsored many local sports teams over the years, including baseball, hockey, and soccer. His office also offers Free Dentistry Days for those less fortunate in the community. Since 1987, he has been volunteering his time and expertise to the on-call service at Southlake Regional Hospital, assisting patients with mental and physical disabilities. Dr. Gray also provides dentistry at a volunteer clinic in Haliburton. His goal is to provide the highest quality dental care possible.
Dr. Gray regularly invests in continuing education, not only for himself but for his team as well. His continued training has advanced his knowledge in the field of occlusion and TMJ (temporomandibular joint) disorders , as well as Implants, Wisdom Teeth, Orthodontics, and Sedation.
Dr. Ian Gray lives in the Newmarket area with his wife Theresa and their five children. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, keeping fit, skiing, snowshoeing, and he plays hockey in a local men’s league.
